Part-1 iPhone

First glance it feels hard to believe and some people might laugh out loud at me. But before that I want everyone to hear me out and then judge this statement.

Apple tech giant, the most profitable tech company in the world. Q4 2017 the company made revenue of 52.6 billion. So there seems no way of company going out of business.

Now let’s see the current apple.

The most dominating piece of hardware apple have to date. Their full market strategy is based on iPhone. But in the last 7 years there haven’t been positive changes in the iPhone. After the iPhone 6s apple is constantly ditching the cool and useful features of iPhone. Like ditching the Headphone jack in iPhone 7, the ditching the Touch ID in iPhone X. iPhone was always about easy consumer usability. But now it is becoming hard to recommend. The IOS hasn’t updated much in last few years and IOS 11 was the buggiest IOS to date. Apples AI is also the weakest with SIRI despite it’s the first in the market. For flows like this iPhone X is the first apple product that is going to stop production in early 2019. Apple was the creator of modern smartphone era. But now the current trend has become more competitive then ever. Apple isn’t the only big name in this game now. The iPhone X was a desperate move for apple to do something new and innovative. For that reason they even have to buy the OLED display form there main rivals Samsung, just to match up the display with new generation.

As the competition was tough and Samsung and other Chinese smartphone company showing so much innovation. So, the expectation was sky high with the iPhone 10. And I believe apple failed miserably. As I still use my iPhone SE not iPhone X. I am a person who use phone and mobile tech for my daily needs and communication. Why I have to learn how to use a phone. When I am using the same IOS for last 8 years. This is not acceptable for me.

IOS, the core running the iPhone. The main reason people use the IOS is the speed, responsiveness, easy to use, lack of bugs and security. All these aspects of apple are getting lost one by one. Back in the day of iPhone 4 its was so simple to use and pick up an iPhone. But now with the release of iPhone X the phone is long gone form the pick up and go policy. No matter what anyone says the new Gesture based controls are not user friendly. IOS 11 was not also prepared of this new style of control as the it wasn’t responsive as normal IOS 11 in other iPhone. Apple wasn’t a company which beta tests a product in public. But iPhone X and the IOS 11 both feels like a beta test for the premium price tags of 1000$.

Apple is a premium brand. This premium feel looks like now only stacking up in the price tags. Not its innovation what we have seen in the ear of Steve Jobs.
